Food service manager for Millerville Academy for 29 years and the Battered Women's Shelter for four years, she died at 3:08 a.m. Sunday, Nov. 14, 2010, at Flannery Oaks Guest House. She was 67, a resident of Denham Springs and native of Passaia, N.J. Religious service at Riverdale Baptist Church at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 17, conducted by the Rev. Preston Thompson. Survived by her mother, Dorothy Pelham; sons and daughters-in-law, Kenny and Lisa Wells and Larry and Susie Wells; sister and brother-in-law, Judy and Gene Shattuck; brother, Greg Pelham; and five grandchildren.
