

Paul lived a life rooted in love, connection, and appreciation for the world around him. One of Paul’s greatest pleasures in life was spending time outdoors, especially going fishing with his uncle, cousin and his brothers. He was devoted to his family and friends and found great joy in nurturing those relationships. He greeted the world with gentleness, generosity, and unwavering kindness. Paul was known for his calm presence, sincere and understanding spirit, and the warm smile he shared with those around him. His lighthearted humor and effortless laughter will live on in the hearts of those who loved him
Paul now rests in eternal peace with God. He was preceded in death by his mother, Eleanor Mae St. Pierre; father, Clayton Calvin Cantwell; brother, William P. Cantwell; aunt, Sr. Nuncia St. Pierre; uncle Bro. Pierre St. Pierre and granddaughter, Parker Hollie.
Paul is survived by his beloved wife, Claudia Kammer Cantwell; children, Adrienne Hollie (Brandon), Camille Cantwell (Nick), Nathan Cantwell (Ellen), and Jessica Tran (Ben): stepchildren Melissa MacNaughton (William) and Freddy H. Cunningham (Cyndi); grandchildren Ava, Quinn, and Bailey Tran, Rylan Hollie, Troy Vera, Kate Cunningham, Kayla, Mary Louise, Hughes, Amelie and Dean MacNaughton; great-grandchild Carter Vera; sister Rose Mary Smith, brothers Patrick and Michael Cantwell (Carmen).
Paul will be deeply missed and forever remembered by his family and friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, January 26, 2026, at 9:00 AM, followed by a Funeral Mass at 10:00 AM at Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Mercy’s Memorial Columbarium, The Garden of Peace. Following the interment, a celebration of life reception will be held at Mercy’s Parish Activity Center.
