Pernellia Ann Williams, a resident of Baton Rouge, LA passed away peacefully in her sleep on Thursday, July 20, 2023, at the age of 72. Pernellia was born on September 15, 1950 to Ruby S. Angrum Williams and Johnny Williams. Pernellia was a 1968 graduate of Mckinley Senior High School, and received her degree from Southern University in 1975. Pernellia was a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority.
Pernellia was preceded in death by her father, grandparents, and a sibling.
Pernellia will be deeply missed by her mother, Ruby S. Angrum Williams; her brother, Wellington and wife Betty; sisters, Annie Lee, and Johnnie Mae Wilson; a dear friend, Elvin Washington, whom was like a brother to her; her aunt, Frances Williams; her BFF’s Jessie Betz, Reverend Jennifer Jones, and Brenda Williams; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Visitation will be from 9 am to 9:30 am at Greenoaks Funeral Home Saturday, July 29, 2023, with a private graveside service to begin at 10 am.
