

A life-long resident of Baton Rouge, Randall Estus Davis was born September 10, 1932, & died July 14, 2023, at the age of 90. He proudly served in the Air Force & loved flying & gliding. He loved music. He sang on the radio as a teenager & started The Society for the Preservation and Encouragement of Barber Shop Quartets Singing in America or SPEBSQSA for short! He was a longtime realtor in Baton Rouge who loved people and golfing & gambling. He is survived by his loving children, Stacey Jones, (Henry), Randall Davis, Jr. (Cindy), Matthew Davis/Peace Marvel (Erin) and Clear Moore (David); grandchildren, Billie, Zoë, Eli Randall Davis, Jessie, Randall Davis, III (Natalie), Betsy, Luke, Ksenia, Eimhear Mae, Siaden, Colgan; great-grandchildren, Ala, Parker & Zane; his best friend of 83 years, Hank Williams; and dear friends, Elaine Laughrey & Ruth Blazier. He is preceded in death by the love of his life, his wife, Billie Mae Ledwidge Davis; parents, a brother, & two sisters. He is also survived by his estranged son, Steven Davis, (Nancy, Steven, Jr. & Libby.) Services will be held at Jefferson United Methodist Church, 10328 Jefferson Hwy, Baton Rouge) Saturday, July 22, 2023, at 2pm.
