Ray Paul Gaspard, age 78, entered into eternal rest on November 10, 2025. He was born in Mansura, La, on November 13, 1946, to the late Lindsey Gaspard and Marie Daigrepont Cooper. Ray is survived by his two daughters, Shantelle Davidson, husband Tim Davidson and Monique Jarreau, and his two grandchildren, Ashley Jarreau Ducote, and Brad Jarreau, great- grandson, Colton Ducote who were the joy of his life. He was preceded in death by his wife Mona Jean Gaspard, parents, Lindsey Gaspard and Marie Daigrepont Cooper, and stepfather Guy Guillot.
Ray loved spending time with his family and giving his grandkids rides on his four-wheeler. He was also an avid hunter and fisherman; he truly enjoyed the outdoors. Ray will sadly be missed by his family and friends at the Louisiana War Veterans Home. The family would like to thank the caring nurses and staff of the Louisiana War Veterans Home for their kindness and compassion.
Visitation will be held at 10:30 am on Monday, November 17, 2025, at Rabenhorst East, 11000 Florida Blvd., with services to follow at 12:30 pm. Interment will follow at Louisiana National Cemetery, 303 W. Mount Pleasant, Zachary, LA.
