Aza Rita Bizette Forbes died peacefully at home, surrounded by her family and close friends, Thursday, Nov. 25, 2010, at 12:50 p.m. Her life was completely devoted to her family. She will be missed by all who knew her. Rita was born Jan. 10, 1928, in Morganza. She was a resident of Baton Rouge and, most recently, Prairieville. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Harold B. Forbes; infant son, Michael Lee Cobb; and her parents, Maurice and Nadege Bizette. She is survived by her children, Cathy McFatter and husband Dwayne, of Baton Rouge, Malcolm Cobb, of Gonzales, and Lisa Eubanks and husband Steve, of Sterrett, Ala.; siblings, Percy Bizette and wife Wanda, of Baton Rouge, Rose Landry, of Colton, Calif., Deloris Moak and husband Ed, of Brookhaven, Miss., and Loretta Krause and husband Arnold, of San Antonio; grandchildren, Michelle McFatter Kelly and husband Robert, of Walker, R. Scott McFatter and wife Kelly, of Baton Rouge, Michael Cobb and wife Michelle, of Gonzales, and Kellie Eubanks of Sterrett; and great-grandchildren, Taylor Kelly, Abagail Cobb, Ethan Cobb and Mackenzie Kelly. The family offers its gratitude to Amedisys Home Health, Amedisys Hospice, Our Lady of the Lake Rehabilitation, Dr. Green and Sharon Caldwell, for working so hard to ensure that her final months at home were of the highest quality.
