

Robert (Bob) Baham was born in Opelousas, LA on January 30, 1935 and went home to be with his Lord and Savior on February 28, 2017 after a long illness with Parkinson’s disease. He was living in Mt. Juliet, TN. In his 82 years of life, he celebrated his relationships with God, family and friends with a serving heart. He modeled caring and nurturing for those who loved him and will be remembered for his boyish smile and sense of humor.
Bob was a graduate of Opelousas High School and attended the University of Southwestern Louisiana. He was an employee of Shell Oil Company for thirty-two years and finished his career with HES –Hospital Energy Systems. He was also a deacon at Florida Blvd. Baptist Church. He will be missed greatly by family and friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Robert Baham, Sr. and Susie Perry Baham; his in-laws,Aubrey and Hattie Williamson; and daughter,Cindy Baham LeBert.
He is survived by his wife, Winona Baham; daughter, Rhonda Baham Henderson and husband, Rex of Houston, TX; daughter, Stacey Baham Horne and husband, Mark of Mt. Juliet, TN; grandchildren: Kelly Henderson of Nashville, TN; Zachary Henderson of Austin, TX; Sean LeBert and wife, Valerie of Breaux Bridge, LA; Traci LeBert of Gonzalez, LA; Parker and Perry Horne of Mt. Juliet, TN; and six great grandchildren.
Family and friends are invited to attend funeral services at Greenoaks Funeral Home on Florida Blvd. in Baton Rouge, LA on Monday, March 6 at 12:00 noon. Visitation will precede services at 10 am. Burial will follow services at Greenoaks Memorial Park.
Pallbearers will be Rex Henderson, Mark Horne, Sean LeBert, Zachary Henderson, Parker Horne and Perry Horne. Memorial donations can be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital or the Louisiana Baptist Children’s Home.
