Robert “ Bob” Reid, 76, a resident of Prairieville passed away on Wednesday November 25, 2009. He was a retired Gunny Sgt. For the U. S. Marine Corps. There will be a visitation at Greenoaks Funeral Home on Wednesday from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. A memorial service will be at 7 p.m. Survivors include his wife, Sallie B. Reid; a daughter, Robin Jarreau and husband Wayne; 2 sons, Robert Reid, Jr. and wife Denise and James Reid; 2 sisters, Helen Joyce Samples and Jackie Nolan; 4 grandchildren, Paul Reid and wife Brandy, Steven Reid and wife Ashley, Jeremy Jarreau and wife Jessica and Brittany Reid; 5 great grandchildren, Dylan, Lathan, Alyia and Bailey Reid and Nathaniel Jarreau. Preceded in death by his parents, 3 sisters and 1 brother. He was a member of St. John the Evangelist Church.
