

Robert “Bob” Lee Bundick, III of Baton Rouge, LA passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family on September 28, 2017 after a thirteen-year battle with prostate cancer. He was 76 years of age. Bob is now free of his earthly bonds and will join those family and friends who have gone before to prepare a place for him to be with them and the Heavenly Father. Bob is preceded in death by his parents, Robert L. Bundick, Jr and Stella Mae Harvey Fenton. He is survived by his wife, Dawn Pfister of Baton Rouge, his two children, son, Derek Lee Bundick and wife, Kim Cason Bundick of Fort Mill, SC and daughter, Devin Bundick Bonner and husband, Charles “Thom” Thomson Bonner of Baton Rouge, LA and their mother, Cecelia Ann Bundick; his brother, Dennis R. Bundick and wife, Rebecca Kirk of Abbeville, LA; his children by marriage, Jessica Patin Graham and her husband, David Graham of Prairieville, LA and Joel Patin of Dallas, TX; grandchildren Jolie & Jude Graham of Baton Rouge, LA, Sophia & Riley Patin of Baton Rouge, LA. He was a retired Sergeant Major in the Army Corp of Engineers, 245th Battalion. Visitation will be held at Greenoaks Funeral Home 9595 Florida Blvd. on Monday, October 2, 2017, from 9 AM until funeral service at 12 PM conducted by Dr. George "Bub" Haile, retired pastor of the University Baptist Church, eulogy delivered by good friend and co-worker, Jim Miller. The family would like to give their heartfelt appreciation and is grateful for the care given by the staff of the Tulane Cancer Center and in particular, the dedication and friendship of Dr. Oliver Sartor and his team.
