Words cannot describe the magnitude of respect and love I have for Dr. Elliot. He was able to see life through the eyes of a child, believing in the magic of the moment, his smile, hugs, time with family and patients and everything and everyone his touched. He has provided me with hope, confidence and care that I have not experienced with any other physician. His dedication, tireless energy, wisdom and love cannot be expressed in words. He will be sorely missed and I pray for him. Thank you Dr. Elliot for being a part of my life!

Dr. Elliott absolutely saved my life!!!!  I am still alive today, after 21 years because of his care.  I will always love both he and Dr. Mary.
I know he is in God's hands.

Dr Elliott was my Breast Specialist for about 45 years. On my first visit he gave me the courage to begin facing all these years of breast problems. In 1985 he personally called my soon to be husband to his office to explain in serious detail what Press would be facing as my spouse. They have been close friends ever since. 
Dr Elliott was loving, compassionate, caring and always reassuring. He and Dr Mary were like family to us and treated us the same. Later we became neighbors as well. He also treated all my friends and family. 
He is already missed. And while his medical legacy lives on,  his love for all of us lives as well. 
Our deepest condolences to his wonderful family that we were blessed to watch grow up through Dr Bob’s adoring eyes.  Love to you all. 

My mom and I would like to express our deepest sympathies to the staff and family of Dr. Elliott.  He was such a kind and compassionate man as well as a phenomenal and dedicated doctor and will be deeply missed by all.  He always treated my mom and me with such compassion.  I believe to this day that my mom is still with us because of Dr. Elliott and the care that he has given her as well as me.  His deep faith carried on into his practice and his dedication towards his patients and finding a cure for the awful disease.

I will be forever grateful for Dr Elliot for the wonderful care he gave my mother,  Antionette and myself.  He gave her 5 extra years of life.I have been his patient for over 20 years. I always felt I was truly in the best of care. What a blessing to have  this Godly man care for you in such a loving and caring way. I know he is in God's arms. I just learned of Dr. Elliott passing on to heaven.  I am heartbroken.   This is the man that saved my life (literally).  I have always had the upmost respect for him and his staff.  His devotion to God, his family, his staff, and his practice were above any other I have ever experienced.  Never once did I set foot in his office ( for testing, appointments, chemo, or anything else) without being greeted with a huge smile and hey kiddo how are you doing.   There is a huge hole left in the breast cancer community.  I know he has worked with Dr. Baucom for years and look forward to still being a member of the EEB Treatment Center.  



I’m know I’m among many, many who are devastated to hear of Dr. Elliott’s passing. Today I received the letter from the office and am just heartbroken. I have gone to him yearly for 42 years except to Dr. Balcom recently. I truly loved and cherished his compassion for his research, his patients,  his family and his love for the Lord. What  a loss for this world but I know there is a special place for him in Heaven. My sincere and heartfelt condolences to his family and the staff at his clinic. I am just learning of Dr Elliott’s passing. He was the most caring, kindest Doctor to his patients. My thoughts and prayers are with his staff and all his family. 

I was devastated and very saddened to hear of the passing Dr. Robert L. Elliott. He was extremely loving, so  considerate and immensely competent. I will truly miss him. My heart is broken, he gave me strength and was my rock. He always welcomed me and gave me hugs, he never failed to ask about my sister and brothers. Please accept my condolences on your loss.  I had the distinct pleasure of working with Dr. Elliott over the past few years and have the greatest admiration for his many accomplishments and his unbridled enthusiasm for science and medicine.  

We were heart broken to hear of the passing of our doctor with our combined visits totaling over 20 years. He was a God sent man who was caring about his patients and their families. Although two of us were diagnosed with Breast Cancer, thus having  Mascectomies, and one who received ongoing Breast care, we never lost Faith because he was so encouraging.  He believed that everything would be alright and his persona revealed that during each visits.   He prayed with us and shared our family stories all before leaving the examining room.  His entire staff some who have passed on, retired, along with those who are still there are all fit for a crown.  They were trained to be caring and kind just as he was.  The Bible teaches us in Psalms 30:5 "For his anger endureth but a moment; in his favor is life: weeping may endue for a night, but joy cometh in the morning.  Our JOY in the Morning has already come because we can attest to the fact that he lived a life well spent and a legacy to rejoice about.

I was devastated and saddened to hear of the passing of my doctor, Dr. Robert L. Elliott. He was so kind, considerate and extremely competent.  I will miss him immensely . My visits with him were always greeted by “here is my silver fox”. That phrase was due to the color of my hair.‘He never failed to ask about my family and where out next vacation location would be. My deepest sympathy to his family as well as his staff and all of his patients who loved him and will miss him.

We were very saddened to hear of Dr. Elliott's passing, our neighbor and friend.  Our fond memories of our golfing days with Doc and KK's, their walks down "our street", and stories of updates on their children and grandchildren, will be missed. I remember the first time I went to Breast Clinic in 2006 to see Dr Mary.  I was getting ready to retire and told my local doctor in  Jonesville LA,  I wanted some checkups before retiring.  We discussed things and then he asked about mammogram.  He told me about this doctor his wife goes to and I said if that’s where you send your wife I want to go there too!  This started a wonderful relationship with both Dr Mary, Dr Robert and that precious girl GINGER!!  There were so many posters about Delta State University that I ask who was from Mississippi.  Come to find out both doctors were raised not that far from where I was raised in Yazoo City.   
I had something on previous mammograms that others didn’t pick up - report was always good.  The Elliotts didn’t see it that way and I went every few months for a year and was going back to yearly.  A few days later, I got a phone call early one morning and was introduced to a man saying he was Dr Robert Elliott - one of those knee buckling times!!  He said he had been looking at the pictures through the night and he didn’t agree with Dr Mary he thought something was there.  Could go on more but had biopsy and had cancer.  Bobby and I went for conference and when I came out of office Mary was standing there with tears rolling and hugging me.  She said something liked I am so sorry I missed it and I hugged her back and said it’s ok that’s why I came I wanted a husband/wife team taking care of me.  Had right breast removed and for abt 14 years went twice a year and just last couple been on yearly.  They and the staff was always so nice and made you feel like you were family and they cared abt you.  Would have prayer with you and always asked about family.  And that girl Ginger!  She had her own heartaches but would always smile and lift you up.  I know what it is going through with loss of a spouse and my prayers are with Dr Mary, their family and the staff.   Prayers for all.

I will always be so grateful to Dr Elliott for the care he gave to my husband , Phil.  He will be missed by so many.

I was saddened to hear of the passing of MY precious Dr. Elliott 😢. He was my Dr. for 22 years. I didn’t mind driving from McComb Ms. for my visits. He was a true man of God who loved God and his patients. He was intense about the care for his patients, and we knew it. When I had my first mammogram at Southwest Reg Med Ctr in McCom, there was a cyst detected from the exam, and I had a choice of 2 breast clinics to choose from, and I’m sooooo glad the Lord led me to Dr. Elliott 🙏🏽🙏🏽❤️. I will truly miss him, but I know he left his clinic in very capable hands. Rest in heaven Doc 🙏🏽🙏🏽❤️❤️.

I am broken hearted to learn that we have lost this great man.  I have been a patient of Dr. Bobby since he first came to Baton Rouge... probably over 40 years.  Roland and I both considered him a good friend... and most certainly trusted him beyond words.   He was a absolutely brilliant doctor and researcher..... and a kind, kind, loving man.  We send out love and prayers to Dr. Mary, all of his family... (who he LOVED to talk about).... and also to his loyal staff.  He left the world a better place. Dr. Robert was a GOD sent  doctor. He did so much to make you feel,  comfortable about everything that you were going through.  He will truly be missed. LOVE to the family and keeping the family in prayers.

I can’t imagine life without Dr. Elliott! I am heartbroken, as I’m sure everyone is who ever saw him.  He was my doctor for about 30 years, and saw me through two bouts with breast cancer. I guess I thought he was immortal! Praying for Dr. Mary and his staff, especially Ginger. She’s always been right there.

Dr. Elliot has been my doctor for a little over 12 years. He was my breast cancer surgeon and has continued to treat me for breast cancer follow ups. Not only a brilliant surgeon but he was the most wonderful human being one can know.  I will miss Dr. Elliot and will never forget his kindness. I'm heartbroken over his passing and extend my condolences to his family through this difficult time. His  beautiful daughter,  Dr. Ghere, is also my doctor and also a brilliant surgeon like her dad.  The entire family of Dr. Elliot will be in my prayers. RIP Dr. Elliot. You will forever be missed.

We started seeing Dr Elliott for a year. He was so wonderful and his plan to save lives will live on. We will miss him so much. I know he is with The Lord. We Love you.

I have known Dr. Elliott for about 40 years and have been his patient since that time when he first moved to Baton Rouge.  He was not only a great doctor to me and others,   but I did consider him a friend, and of course about 11 years ago he took care of me when I had breast cancer.  I think I am in shock about hearing this sad, sad news.  My thoughts and prayers are sent to his family and his office staff who I'm sure will experience a great loss.  

I am so saddened at the passing of this dear man.  He was not only an excellent doctor, but such a compassionate and loving person. My condolences to Dr. Mary and their family. And also to his staff. I can’t imagine what it will be like to go into his clinic now. God have mercy on his sweet soul. 

Ten years ago, I walked into his office and he walked into my heart.  I always felt like I was being cared for by family.  I am stunned at his passing and I just don't know what step to take next.  This man, this doctor, this cancer researcher was passionate about his work and so deferential to his breast cancer patients.  He took such good care of me, always doing his very best.  I wish to extend my deepest sympathy to Dr. Mary and all of the staff at the Mastology Center, who also was very kind and professional with me over the years, especially Ginger.  I offer my prayers as we all step forward without Dr. Elliott.  Let perpetual light shine upon him.  

They say silence can be deafening and I believe it!  Not hearing his voice or hearing him whistle everyday, the office is truly deafening. I have worked for Dr. Elliott for 22 years!  My life will forever be blessed having known him and I will miss him immensley. My thoughts and prayers are with Dr. Mary and family! May you find peace and comfort in knowing that he is with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

So, so sorry to hear of the passing of our beloved  Dr. Elliott, who was loved by so many of  his patients he treated over the years with breast problems.  Not only was he such a knowledgeable doctor , still continually doing research in his field, but he was a very compassionate individual who made you feel very comfortable during the time  spent with him.  My thoughts and prayers are extended to his family....he will certainly be missed by me and all who knew him.

I am praying for your family and Dr Elliott’s many patients who may miss him as much as I will.
