
A retired superintendent of Monterrey Pipeline Co. and a resident of Baton Rouge, he died Sunday, Nov. 19, 2006. He was 74, a native of Farmerville and a U.S. Army veteran, having served from Dec. 12, 1952, until Dec. 10, 1954. Visiting at Rabenhorst Funeral Home East, 11000 Florida Blvd., was on Monday, Nov. 20, from 5 p.m.to 8 p.m.Visiting atFloridaBoulevardBaptistChurchon Tuesday, Nov. 21, from 9 a.m.until religious service at 10 a.m., conducted by Dr. Stephen Trammell, Louis Boyd and Gerald Wheeler. Graveside service on Wednesday in Farmerville. He is survived by his wife, Naomi Nolan; daughter, Dianne Lewis; three sons, Keith, Mark and Jeff Cook; brother, Don Nolan; nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by first wife, Betty Sue Nolan; father, Robert Lee Nolan; mother, Floy Nolan; sister, Nelwyn Leonard; son, Marty Nolan; and daughter, Cheryl Sue Nolan. Pallbearers will be Ron Fly, Bob Daniel, Glenn McClendon, Harold Stegall, Bollen Corkern and John Michalski. Honorary pallbearers are Kyle Cook, Brett Cook, Johnathon Lewis, Paxton Cook and Austin Cook. He received a bachelor of science degree from Louisiana Tech. In lieu of flowers, the family request memorial contributions to Florida Blvd. Baptist Church Mission Fund.
