A loving husband, father and grandfather, he died on Monday, May 21, 2007, at Sherwood Manor in Baton Rouge. Visitation at St. Patrick Catholic Church on Thursday, May 24, from noon until Mass of Christian Burial at 2 p.m., with the Rev. Gerry Martin, celebrant. Interment in Resthaven Gardens of Memory. Buz was the husband of the late Mercedes F. Sawyer and the father of Bob Sawyer.
