Romilda B. Plaisance

"Romilda Bei Plaisance, a native of Gretna, LA and a resident of Baton Rouge, LA, passed away on March 2, 2020 at the age of 91. Romilda retired from Gene Ducote Volkswagen in Gretna. She is survived by her daughter, Cynthia Gautreaux (Frannie) of Baton Rouge, and son-in-law, Douglas Tranchina of Pearl River, LA; grandchildren, Phil Tranchina (Danielle) of Madisonville, LA, Ben Tranchina (Danielle) of McKinney, TX, Tanya Raley Hodges (Robert) of Watson, LA, Jennifer Raley Russell (Cory) of Lafayette, TN, Chris Tranchina of Prosper, TX, and Mary Tranchina Foster (Chad) of Denham Springs, LA; great-grandchildren, Cade, Sophie, Carson, Colin, Nick, Alex, Peyton, Hunter, Haley, Megan, Amanda, Austin, Alayna, Adam, Aiden, Kelly, Riley, and Abbey; and great-great-grandchildren, Kayden and Delbert. She was preceded in death by her husband , Roy Joseph Plaisance; parents, Leo Bei and Romilda Rapp Bei; daughter, Catherine Tranchina; and siblings, Gloria Bei Duhon, Leo Bei, Jr. and George Bei. Visitation will be on Saturday, March 7, 2020 at Journey Church, 17407 Greenwell Springs Rd, Greenwell Springs, LA, from 10:00 a.m. until a Memorial Service at 11:00. Interment will follow the service at Roselawn Memorial Park in Baton Rouge. Honorary pallbearers will be Frannie, Doug, Phil, Ben, Chris, Robert and Chad.
