Ron’s family was very important to him, and he never missed an opportunity to spend time with them. Especially at crawfish boils, holidays and birthday parties. Ron had an incredible memory and gift for telling jokes. He always came ready with new and old jokes (good and bad) to keep everyone laughing. Ron is survived by his sister, Gay Couvillion Watson, and his brother-in-law, William Michael Watson and six nieces and nephews who he loved dearly; Katie Watson Winge, Clayton Michael Watson, Desiree’ Couvillion Damann, Daniell Couvillion Mock, Brady Randall Couvillion and Meagan Diane Couvillion and ten great-nieces and nephews who would light up his face like no one else would. Ron is also survived by Jenny Hastings, a very special person who he loved very much and who brought him much happiness. Ron was preceded in death by his father Leroy Paul Couvillion, Jr., his mother Janell O’Quinn Couvillion and brother, Gary Randall Couvillion. The family would like to thank the Our Lady of the Lake Neuro Medical Trauma Center along with Ron’s two critical care nurses, Chase and Brian. The professional care and thoughtful attention given to Ron as well as the family was impeccable. In lieu of flowers, please make a charitable donation to St Jude Children’s Hospital in Ron’s memory.
