A retired employee of the East Baton Rouge Parish school system and a veteran of the Army, he died Monday, Oct. 3, 2011. He was 73, a resident of Baton Rouge and a native of New Roads. Visiting at Rabenhorst Funeral Home, 825 Government St., Wednesday, Oct. 5, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Visiting at St. James Baptist Church, 1105 N. 44th St., Thursday, Oct. 6, from 10 a.m. until service at 11 a.m., conducted by the Rev. Robert Smith. Interment in Southern Memorial Gardens. He is survived by three daughters, Renee L. Vaughn and husband Marvin, Albertha L. Rankins, and Ronetta L. Jackson and husband Clarence; adopted son, Ronnie Lockett; sisters, Beverly Harleaux, Barbara Davis, Emily Perkins and Claudette LeDuff; brothers, Clarence, Milton, Ronald, and Charley LeDuff; seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by his wife, Edna LeDuff; daughter, Roschelle LeDuff; parents, three brothers and sister.
