It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Rose Ann L. Dileo, who passed away Saturday, November 1, 2025, peacefully at her home at the age of 85. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and sister. She was a devoted Catholic who taught her family how to be a follower of Christ and to love unconditionally. Rose Ann was a devoted school teacher in East Baton Rouge Parish with 25 years of service. She enjoyed cooking her delicious Italian meals for her family along with playing video poker. She was the best Mimi to her grandchildren, had a beautiful smile, and never met a stranger. She loved her family and friends and will be missed by all. Rose Ann is survived by her husband of 67 years, Joseph “Joe” Dileo, Sr.; children, Philomena Greenblatt (Glenn), Tonya Entremont (Chuck), and Dr. Joseph Dileo, Jr. (Lana); grandchildren, Taylor Greenblatt (Nicole), Christian Greenblatt, Blakeli Entremont (J.T. Blair), Blair Entremont, Madison, Liam, and Luca Dileo; siblings, Mary Spruell and Vincent Larussa (Carol); and a host of other loving family members and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, Vincent and Josephine Larussa; and brother-in-law, Raymond Spruell. Visitation will be at St. Alphonsus Liguori Catholic Church, 14040 Greenwell Springs Rd., Greenwell Springs, LA, on Thursday, November 6, 2025, from 11:30am until the Mass of Christian Burial at 12:30pm. Burial will immediately follow at Greenoaks Memorial Park. The family of Rose Ann Dileo wishes to extend sincere gratitude and appreciation to Hospice In His Care nurses Jennifer, Haley and Amber along with her loving sitters Venisha Nettles, Dedra Magee, Nancy and Fred with Caring Angels.
