"A resident of Baton Rouge, Rose Marie Langlois McLin passed away on Monday, May 29, 2017. She was 83. She will always be remembered as a loving mother. Visitation will be at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Lakeland, on Friday, June 2, 2017 from 9:30 am until Mass of Christian Burial at noon celebrated by Rev. Frank Uter. Burial will follow in Greenoaks Memorial Park. She is survived by two daughters, Theresa McLin Samaha and Melanie McLin Spears; and a brother and sister-in-law, Larry and Ida Mae Callegan Langlois. Rose is preceded in death by her husband, Peter Lance McLin; parents, George and Una Chustz Langlois; sister and brother-in-law, Bertha L. and Sidney Gremillion; and a son-in-law, Dale Spears. Pallbearers will be Chris, Brian, Gregg, Matthew and Jaque Langlois and Barry Keller. Honorary pallbearers will be Larry Langlois, Randy Gremillion, Terry Pascalin, Joe Mitchell and Scott White. Donations may be sent to Altzheimer's Association of the Capital Region.
