Rose Salvato Rogers, a native and resident of Baton Rouge, passed away Friday, Oct. 23, 2009, at age 84. Visiting at Rabenhorst Funeral Home East, 11000 Florida Blvd., on Monday, Oct. 26, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Graveside services at Port Hudson National Cemetery in Zachary on Tuesday, Oct. 27, at 11 a.m. Mrs. Rogers is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Herbert A. and Laura Rogers; granddaughters, Kacee A. Rogers and Lauren E. Smiley; grandson, Hansen A. and his wife, Amanda H. Rogers; and a sister, Sarah S. Scott. Preceded in death by her husband, Kermett A. Rogers; and parents Sam and Mary Salvato. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Hospice of Baton Rouge, 9063 Siegen Lane, Suite A, Baton Rouge, LA 70810.
