A native of Baton Rouge, Roxanne died at her home in Fordoche on Tuesday, Nov. 9, 2010. She was 28. Visiting will be at Rabenhorst Funeral Home East chapel, 11000 Florida Blvd., Saturday, Nov. 13, from 9 a.m. until religious services at 11 a.m., conducted by the Rev. Joe Hermerding. Burial will follow in St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Cemetery in Livonia. She is survived by a son, Pierce McDowell; fiancé, Mitchell McDowell; mother and stepfather, Kelly and Wayne McAdams; father, Willie Deshotels Jr.; brother, Scott McAdams; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, friends and her three four-legged children, Gage Brody, Amber Skye and Max Payne. She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Toonie Pizzolato; grandfather, Tony Pizzolato; and her cousin and best friend, Amber Rose Genusa. Roxanne was a 2000 graduate of Livonia High School and received her bachelor's degree in psychology from Southeastern Louisiana University in 2005.
