Rufus Donaldson Brown, IV passed away on April 21, 2025 after a long battle with cancer. He was born in Siloam Springs, Arkansas, on December 28, 1954 and was a lifelong resident of Baton Rouge. He graduated from Tara High in 1973 and later created his janitorial company. Rufus was preceded in death by his parents, Rufus Donaldson Brown, III and Clydean Griffin Brown and his beloved dog, Sugar. He leaves behind his sister, Cheryl Brown Beauford; nephew, Benjamin Ross Beauford II and his wife Clare M. Scully and two great-nephews, Benjamin Louis Beauford and James Griffin Beauford.
