Russell Paul Marler, Sr. passed away on Monday, August 30, 2021, at the age of 84. Russell is survived by his devoted wife of 52 years, Dottie Eberhard Marler; children, Rusty (Kelly), Randy, Paula Hargrave and Pam Marler; 13 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; siblings, Lane (Yvonne) and Ray (Peggy); and a host of family members and a special group of friends. He is preceded in death by his children, Patricia Bourgeois and Jason Marler; grandchildren, Patrick Bourgeois and Jamie Goudeau; parents, Erman Marler, Sr. and Enola and Lowell Lusted; and three brothers. Visitation will be at Greenoaks Funeral Home, 9595 Florida Blvd., Baton Rouge, LA, on Saturday, September 11, 2021, from 11:00AM until the time of funeral services at 2:00PM. Burial will immediately follow at Greenoaks Memorial Park. Russell will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
