Russell Sylvester

in Baton Rouge. Russell had a zest for Life, playful personality and he always loved to have fun. He was also a true outdoorsman and had a great passion for fishing. If there were fish to be caught, he was the one who would end up catching them!

Russell loved God and his family above all else. He always had a bodacious smile for everyone he encountered. His greatest joy in life was giving to others.

Survived by his loving wife Belinda (Lynn) Sylvester; son, Tyler Sylvester, Dustin Payne (Emily) and Kolby Payne (Alana); grandchildren, Macy, Hunter, Zachary, Ainsley, Koda and Krew; parents, Bob Sylvester of Denham Springs; sister, Debbie (Ronnie) Alleman of Denham Springs; nephews, Simon Alleman,, Tristan Sanders Derek and Darin Alleman, Eric Sylvester; Brad Sylvester (Megan); great niece, Mia Sylvester; great nephew, Kirby Alleman

and many other nieces and nephews sister in law, Stacy Lynn Sylvester Proceeded in death by his mother, Marie Sylvester; brothers, James and Jerry Sylvester both of Denham Springs , La.

A visitation for Russell will take place at Greenoaks Funeral Home, 9595 Florida Blvd. Baton Rouge, LA 70815, on Monday, September 27, 2021, from 9 am until service begins at 11 am. Interment will follow in Greenoaks Memorial Park.
