Sally passed away on December 30, 2020 at the age of 79. She leaves behind to cherish her memory, her children, Scott Stacey and Amy Stacey; grandchildren, Amanda Olivier (Terry), Chris Valiquette (Whitney), Adam Stacey (Rosa), and John Stacey; great-grandchildren, Violet, Avery, Evelyn, and Caleb Olivier; and her sister, Harriet Bergeron. She is preceded in death by her loving husband, James Stacey; and her parents, Thomas and Mary Gordon Haynes. Sally Kay was a faithful member of Broadmoor Methodist Church and also enjoyed attending Healing Place Church. She was a big LSU fan and the Saints were a close second. Sally attended LSU and later worked at LSU for numerous years in the Animal Science Department and Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society. She loved her family and friends dearly, and never met a stranger. Sally was a great listener and always had advice for anyone who needed it. She loved gardening, butterflies and sewing. Family and friends are invited to attend a visitation at Greenoaks Funeral Home on Tuesday, January 5, 2021 from 10 am until 12 pm. A funeral service will begin at 12 noon. Burial will follow in Greenoaks Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Adam Stacey, John Stacey, Eric Pritchard, Chris Valiquette, Terry Olivier, and Scott Stacey.
