A native of Santa Monica, Calif. and former longtime resident of Atlanta, Ga., she died of a stroke on April 14, 2013. She was 62, a retired nurse. Visiting at Rabenhorst Funeral Home, 11000 Florida Blvd., on Thursday, April 18, 2013 from 5 p.m. until service at 6 p.m. Survivors include her sisters, Anna Haldane and Wendy Powers; brother, James "Turk" Walton. Preceded in death by her mother, Bertie Walton, and father, James Walton. Sandi attended Charity Nursing School. She loved her family, including all of her nieces and nephews, and her bearded collies.
