Sarah Snell Lacombe

Sarah Snell Lacombe, a native of Central and a resident of New Roads, passed away on Sunday, September 8, 2013 at the age of 74. She was a loving daughter, mother, sister, and grandmother who be missed dearly by all who had the pleasure of knowing her. Sarah is survived by her mother, Ella Mae Snell; daughter, Mary Smith Partin and husband Robin; son, Gene Branum Jr. and wife Margaret; brothers, Doug Snell and wife Maybell, Charles Snell and wife Bobbie, Thomas Snell and wife Janice, Donnie Snell and wife Dianne, and Ronnie Snell; granddaughter, Jessica Garcia and husband Tommy; and three great grandchildren, Gracie and Olivia Garcia, and Zoie Bacon; and a host of nieces, nephews and extended family members. She is preceded in death by her father, Morris Snell; husbands, Elgene Branum Sr. and Jim Lacombe; sisters, Peggy Sue Grant, Opal Steadman, and Nellie Steadman; and granddaughter, Rachel Lackey. Visitation will be held at Greenoaks Funeral Home on Wednesday, September 11, 2013 from 10am until funeral service at 12pm. Interment will follow in Greenoaks Memorial Park.
