
A longtime resident of Baton Rougeand a native of Cottonport, she passed away Thursday, Oct. 26, 2006. She was an LSU graduate, a former member of the Junior League, the Fais Do Do Club and the Harness Club and was a retiree from Ethyl Corp. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Frederick G. Hochenedel III and Dennise C. Hochenedel; stepchildren, Mike and Judy Madden, Rick and Emily Choate, Charles and Theresa Madden, Katie Madden and Terry Madden; and her grandchildren, Rick, Carl and Gene Hochenedel. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Frederick G. Hochenedel Jr.; second husband, Harold Madden; parents, Byron and Lucille Joffrion; brother, Bennett Joffrion; and sisters, Montez Gauthier and Betty Laborde. Visitation at Rabenhorst Funeral Home East, 11000 Florida Blvd., on Sunday, Oct. 29, from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. and on Monday, Oct. 30, from 12:30 p.m. until service in the chapel at 1:30 p.m. Interment will follow in Roselawn Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Byron Gauthier, Bud Hochenedel, Jeff Hochenedel, Richard Kleiner, Mike Madden and Julius Mullins.
