She will always be remembered for her generous nature and strong faith. A native of New Orleans and resident of Baton Rouge, she died Wednesday, May 7, 2008. She was a member of the Gentilly Presbyterian Church, an artist and an animal lover. She was preceded in death by her mother, Elma Armeda Ople Schneider; father, Arthur Michael Schneider Sr.; sister, Jean Schneider Parker; and brother, Arthur Michael Schneider Jr. She is survived by her husband, Alan Lewis Cossé; nieces, Rebecca Parker Cooper, of Baton Rouge, Wendy Parker West, of South Carolina, and Sandra Schneider Krebs, of Virginia Beach, Va.; and nephews, John Steven Parker, of Birmingham, Ala., Arthur Michael Schneider III, of Pensacola, Fla., and Russell Schneider, of Mississippi.
