Thomas William Clements Jr. passed away Wednesday, Jan. 18, 2012, at the age of 94. He was a native and resident of Baton Rouge and a retired welder with Exxon. He is survived by his daughters and their spouses, Darlene Clements and Dr. Robert Michael Lee, and Rita Clements and Ronald L. Doucet; a son, Thomas William Clements III; a brother, Francis Bennett "Boo" Clements; 10 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Rita Marian Pearl Boudreaux Clements; his parents, Thomas William Sr. and Anita Saizan Clements; sisters, Florence Clements Sanchez, Grace Clements Watts and Bessie Clements Smith; and a brother, Joseph Earl Clements. Visitation at St. Alphonsus Liguori Catholic Church on Friday, Jan. 20, starting at 9:30 a.m. until a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m., celebrated by the Rev. Mike Moroney. Internment to follow in Roselawn Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Donald "Bookie" Watts, Jimmy Watts, Francis Clements, Darryl Clements, Joseph "Joe" Clements and David Clements. Honorary pallbearer is Christopher Michael Lee Jr. He was an avid sportsman and enjoyed many years of fishing at False River and Belle River.
