
A retired Ethyl Corp. electrician with 36 years of service, he died at 7:15 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 4, 2008, at his home in Denham Springs. He was 94 and a native of Port Allen. Visitation at Rabenhorst Funeral Home East chapel, 11000 Florida Blvd., on Saturday, Dec. 6, from 10 a.m. until religious service at noon, conducted by the Rev. Joe Main. Burial in Hebron Baptist Church Cemetery, Denham Springs. He is survived by two daughters, Ruby S. Davis and Mary S. Broussard and husband Vivian M. Broussard; a granddaughter, Julie C. Broussard White and husband William; three great-grandchildren, Brandi D. Ciampa and husband Chuckie, Matthew White, and Morgan White; two great-great-grandchildren, Brock and Haley Grace Ciampa; granddaughter-in-law, Tina K Davis; two sisters-in-law, Mae N. Sharp and Frances P. Sharp; and special friends, Jane Blount and Erroll, Sheryl and Cline Villneurve. Preceded in death by his wife of 68 years, Georgia Garrison Sharp; parents, Marshall Pope Sharp and Ruby LeBlanc Sharp; two sisters, Gertrude S. Cotton and Edna "Ned" S. Harelson; two brothers, Marshall O. and William Louis Sharp; son-in-law, Sonny Davis; and two grandsons, Thomas D. and Jeffrey L. Davis. He was a member of Hebron Baptist Church and loved to hunt, fish and garden. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hebron Baptist Church Building Fund or a charity of your choice.
