Victor Musso

Victor. P. Musso, Jr. passed away on Saturday, June 3, 2023, at his home. He was born on August 9, 1943 in Baton Rouge, LA where he was a longtime resident. He always loved Louisiana, its history, and people. Mr. Musso was educated at Baton Rouge High School, Baton Rouge Trade School, Louisiana State University, and DeVry University Electronic Engineering Institute in Chicago, IL. He was a senior electrical engineer designer with the Texaco-Saudi Arabia and Shell Oil Refinery. He was President of the American Italian Federation of the Southeast for several years. He is survived by his three children, Victor Eric Musso, Heather Musso Brown, and Derek John Musso, and his four grandchildren, Dawson Brown, Braelyn Brown, Liam Musso, and Madelyn Musso. He is also survived by many beloved cousins, with special recognition to Pete Losavio. He was preceded in death by his parents, Victor Peter Musso and Rosalie Losavio Musso, both born in Baton Rouge, and his sister, Louise Annette Musso, Godfather Dominic Losavio and Godmother, Marie Losavio Canezaro. Visitation and Services will take place on Thursday, June 8,2023 with visitation beginning at 9:00AM until the funeral mass beginning at 11:00AM at St. George Catholic Church in Baton Rouge, LA. Burial is to follow at the church cemetery. Mr. Musso was a member of the Knights of Columbus and St. Jude Roman Catholic Church in Baton Rouge.
