

Warren Joseph DeCuir died at his home in Chicago, Illinois on Wednesday, June 15, 2016. He was 34 years old. A native of Baton Rouge and resident of Chicago, he was a beloved son, brother, husband and father. He was a corporate attorney. Warren was a 2000 graduate of Broadmoor High School in Baton Rouge. He graduated from Louisiana State University with a degree in Political Science in 2005 and completed his Law degree at Southern University in May, 2009. He was a life member of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. After graduating from Southern, Warren moved to Chicago, where he worked on political campaigns and held various positions in top law firms and major financial institutions. It was there that he met the love of his life, Briana, whom he married on March 15, 2013. To this union, one child, Madison Colleen was born. Warren is survived by his wife, Dr. Briana N. DeCuir; daughter, Madison Colleen DeCuir; his parents, Willie and Deborah DeCuir Moore; grandfather, Wilbert Warren DeCuir, Sr.; brothers, Will J. Moore, Jr. and Wesley J. Moore; and two nieces, Jalynn M. Moore and Keegan G. Moore; two uncles, Wilbert Warren DeCuir, Jr. "Bucky", and Gaston J. DeCuir (Maria); an aunt, Cynthia DeCuir, all of Baton Rouge, and a host of other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his grandmothers, Estelle M. Moore, and Eunice B. DeCuir; grandfather, Willie Moore and numerous other family members. Visitation at Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church, 2250 Main St., Baton Rouge, to be held on Thursday, June 23, at 10:30 a.m. Recitation of the Rosary will be at 11:00 a.m., followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 11:30 a.m., officiated by Fr. Miles J. Walsh. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park. Arrangements entrusted to Rabenhorst Funeral Home, 825 Government Street.
