William O. Albritton

Burial will follow in the Rose Garden area of GreenOaks cemetery behind the funeral home.

Reverend Steve Gautreaux will be officiating. A visitation will precede at 9 AM prior to the funeral at 10 Am

Bill was born November 18, 1941 to Clyde Odis and Lucy Katherine Albritton in Bogalusa, Louisiana and passed away Thursday, September 16, 2021 in Longview, Texas.

Bill lived in Shreveport until age 6 when his family moved to Baton Rouge, his home for over 50 years. He was a graduate of Istruma High school, was drafted into the US Army, served in the Vietnam war and retired from DOW Chemical as a systems analyst in 1995. He moved to Shreveport in 2003 and married there in 2004.

Bill is preceded in death by his father, mother, and older brother, Joseph A Albritton. Left to cherish his memory is his wife of almost 18 years, Nancy Albritton, his sister, Glenda Hudspeth and numerous nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.

Honoring Bill as pallbearers will be Arthur Norsworthy, Wendell Evans, Billy Long, Brian Inboden, Trent Long and Rev Cleve Fontenot
