William H. Dietrich

William H. Dietrich Sr. was born May 25, 1920, and passed away at 10 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 24, 2009. at the home he shared with his loving wife of 68 years, Ruth Abigal Davis. He was retired from Kaiser Aluminum with 38 years of service. Visitation at Rabenhorst Funeral Home East, 11000 Florida Blvd., on Sunday, March 1, from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. Visiting at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church of Denham Springs, 865 Hatchell Lane, on Monday, March 2, from 10 a.m. until Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. He was a loving father who is survived by his two sons, William H. Dietrich Jr. and wife Charlene, and Ronnie F. Dietrich and wife Rosemary. He is also survived by his six grandchildren, Madonna Mitchell, Rhonda Huval, Debraca Latham, Becky LeSage, Kurt Dietrich and Ryan Dietrich; 10 great-grandchildren, Colby and Will Mitchell, Chase, Blake and Blair Huval, Kelsey Dietrich and Heather Latham, Grant LeSage and Trent and Aubrey Dietrich; five sisters, Lodena Rivett, Jane Lambert, Mary Claire Garrene, Catherine LeBouef and Barbara Albarez; two brothers, Russell and Carl Dietrich; two stepgrandchildren, Rachael Willis and Jamie LaCombe; and numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his parents, Christian Henry Dietrich and Marguerite Catherine Kellum Dietrich; and five brothers, Milton, Christian Henry Jr., Stewart, Vernon and Donald Dietrich. Pallbearers will be his two grandsons and four great-grandsons. He was a 1939 Catholic High School graduate.
