"Zelma "Z" Hogan, a native and resident of Baton Rouge, passed away on Saturday, December 15, 2018, at the age of 73. She was a graduate of LSU and was retired from Exxon/Mobil. She loved to travel and made the most beautiful quilts. She was a member of the Order of Eastern Star, Central Star #23, and was formerly a member Istrouma Order 62. She is survived by her daughter, Tonya Teer Green; her son, Jarrod Teer; 6 grandchildren: Brooklyn, Gavin, and Devin Bonner, Malani Green, and Hunter and Alicia Hall; and 4 great-grandchildren: Brody, Issac, Katarina, and Aubrey. She is also survived by her sister, Marion Hogan Forbes; her niece and nephew, Cristin Forbes Ponjuan and Clayton Forbes; as well as lots of cousins and close friends. Z is preceded in death by her parents, Arthur E. Hogan and Ruby Wicker Hogan; a daughter, Tamalyn Rushing (Hall); and granddaughter, Kayla Bonner. Visitation will be at Rabenhorst Funeral Home East, 11000 Florida Blvd, on Thursday, December 20, 2018, from 12:00 pm until Eastern Star Ceremony at 2:00 pm. Graveside service will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park at 2:30 pm.
