Roberto "Tito" Betancourt Torres

Con profundo pesar y amor en el corazón, despedimos a nuestro querido Roberto “Tito” Betancourt Torres, de 77 años, residente de Bayamón, Puerto Rico, quien nos dejó demasiado pronto el 25 de junio de 2025. Tito nació en San Juan, Puerto Rico, el 7 de marzo de 1948.

Fue, sin duda, un hombre extraordinario — amado por todos los que tuvieron el privilegio de conocerlo. Hizo todo lo que estuvo a su alcance por su familia y vivió con integridad, pasión, alegría y un sentido del humor inigualable. Siempre con una sonrisa contagiosa en el rostro, Tito tenía el don único de hacerse querer al instante, de dejar huella en todos los que conocía, y de ser, de alguna manera, el VIP en cualquier lugar al que llegaba.

Le sobreviven su amada esposa, María Román Pérez; sus adorados hijos, Roberto, Clarisse y Christian Betancourt Román; y su nieto encantador, Javier Betancourt Morales — todos quienes lo adoraron profundamente y lo extrañarán más de lo que las palabras pueden expresar. Fue un esposo amoroso y un padre ejemplar — presente, entregado y completamente dedicado a los suyos. Su presencia, sabiduría, humor y amor serán extrañados por siempre.

Tito también fue un hijo excepcional, un hermano fiel, un cuñado respetado, un tío extraordinario, un jefe altamente admirado y un amigo leal. Su carácter fuerte, calidez humana y alegría de vivir lo convirtieron en una figura única e inolvidable para todos los que tuvieron el privilegio de compartir la vida con él.

La familia agradece sinceramente todas las muestras de cariño, apoyo y solidaridad en este momento tan difícil. El servicio funeral se llevará a cabo en la Funeraria Álvarez el día 2 de julio de 2025 desde la 1:00 PM y el sepelio será en el Cementerio Los Cipreses en Bayamón el dia 3 de julio de 2025 saliendo a la 1:15 PM.

With deep sorrow and love in our hearts, we say goodbye to our beloved Roberto “Tito” Betancourt Torres, 77, a resident of Bayamón, Puerto Rico, who left us too early on June 25, 2025. Tito was born in San Juan, Puerto Rico, on March 7, 1948.

He was, without a doubt, an extraordinary man — loved by all who had the privilege of knowing him. He did everything in his power for his family and lived with integrity, passion, joy, and an unmatched sense of humor. Always with a smile on his face and a joke to tell, Tito had the unique gift of being instantly loved, leaving a mark on all he met, and somehow being the VIP anywhere he went.

He is survived by his devoted wife, María Román Pérez; his adoring children, Roberto, Clarisse, and Christian Betancourt Román; and his handsome grandson, Javier Betancourt Morales — all of whom adored him deeply and will miss him more than words can convey. He was a loving husband and an exemplary father — present, devoted, and wholeheartedly committed to his family. His presence, wisdom, humor, and love will be missed forever.

Tito was also an exceptional son, a faithful brother, a respected brother-in-law, an outstanding uncle, a highly respected boss, and a steadfast friend. His strong character, warmth, and joy for life made him a rare and unforgettable figure to all who had the privilege to share life with him.

The family sincerely thanks everyone for the outpouring of love, support, and solidarity during this difficult time. The funeral service will be held at Funeraria Álvarez, and the burial will take place at Los Cipreses Cemetery in Bayamón.
