Ada Nell Holland Rabke

Ada Nell Holland Rabke, 77, of Baytown, passed away Friday, August 7, 2009 in Baytown. She was born February 14, 1932 in Jacksonville, Texas to her late parents, Maurice Clark and Elizabeth Bess Cobb Clark.

Mrs. Rabke graduated from Tyler High School and Tyler Junior College with a nursing degree and was a member of the famous Apache Belles while at Tyler Junior College. She was a beloved and devoted Administrator at the McGovern Allergy Clinic for 32 years. Ada Nell has been a resident of Baytown for the last 48 years and was currently a member of the First Church of the Nazarene. Her enjoyments were traveling, quilting and most of all fishing.

Ada Nell was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Bill Holland and a sister, Betty Grace Hopkins.

Survivors include her husband, Wesley Rabke of Baytown; children, Rebecca Ingvardsen and her husband Ronald of Baytown, William Clark Holland and his wife Tammy of San Marcos and Kelle Holland DeMent and her husband Craig of Baytown; step-sons, David Rabke and his wife Linda of Baytown and Stephen Rabke and his wife Jeanie of Houston; brother, John Neil Clark and his wife Genenvene of Tyler; grandchildren, John Ingvardsen and his wife Amy, Jennifer McDuff and her husband Jason, Clark Holland, Zachary Holland, Patrick DeMent, Austin DeMent, David Rabke, Jr., Evette Rabke, Adam Rabke, Rachelle Rabke and Leah Rabke; great-grandchildren, Cailin McDuff, Daegan McDuff, Ada Rose Ingvardsen, Evan Ingvardsen and she was expecting her fifth great-grandchild that is due in January.

Services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, August 10, 2009 at the Navarre Funeral Home with Pastor Derek Triggs officiating. Burial will follow at White Cemetery in Highlands.

The family will receive friends from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., Sunday, August 9, 2009 at the funeral home.

Serving as pallbearers will be John Ingvardsen, Clark Holland, Zachary Holland, Patrick DeMent, Austin DeMent, David Rabke, Jr. and Jason McDuff.
