Amelia was a devoted Catholic who had a strong spiritual foundation and was a true believer in her faith. She loved to be surrounded by her family. Family meant everything to her, and nothing lit up her face like seeing her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Amelia had a passion for helping the elderly which led her to become an LVN and work in nursing homes. Her dedication and compassion touched the lives of her patients, as well as those around her. Amelia was a lover of baseball and a devoted Houston Astros fan. On game days, you could find her in front of the TV cheering them on, especially Jose Cruz. She had a love for being outdoors, whether it be taking walks, riding her bike, or going to the park.
Pallbearers will be her grandsons.
