Ana Ma. Fernandez

Ana Ma. Fernandez, 85, of Baytown was born July 26, 1933, in Galveston and passed away Thursday, August 2, 2018, at home. She was a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church and formerly owned Fernandez Bridal Imports.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Juan Ignacio Fernandez; son, Rodolfo “Rudy” Fernandez; sisters, Onaria Gonzalez and Dolores Flores; and brother, Enrique Gonzalez. She is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Blanca and Jesse Drazic, Norma and Juan “Memo” Rodriguez, and Maricela Amezcua and Frank Kelso; brothers and sisters-in-law, Reynaldo and Maria A. Gonzalez, Genaro and Carolina Gonzalez, Adolfo and Carina Gonzalez, and Gilberto and Eva Gonzalez; sisters and brother-in-law, Adela Ramirez, Maria Del Soccorro and Benjamin Garcia, Hilda Gonzalez, and Luidivina and Angel Rendon; and fourteen grandchildren, thirty five great grandchildren, and four great great grandchildren.

Her family will receive friends at Navarre Funeral Home Monday, August 6, 2018, beginning at 5:00 p.m. with a rosary to follow at 7:00 p.m. A funeral mass will be Tuesday, August 7, 2018, at 10:30 a.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, 1124 Beech St., Baytown, TX 77520, with Rev. Jesus Lizalde officiating. Burial will follow at San Jacinto Memorial Park in Houston.

Serving as pallbearers will be Michael Vargas, Juan Manuel Rodriguez, Richard Fernandez, David Solis, Patrick Fernandez, and Javier Fernandez.
