Anna Mae Hester

Anna Mae Hester, 86, of Brazoria, went Home Thursday January 26, 2006. She was born March 12, 1919 in Lafayette, LA. She lived at Happy Harbor Apartments for 11 years in LaPorte, Texas. Then she resided in Lovelady, Texas, and then lived for the rest of her life in Brazoria, Texas. She was a beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother, great great grandmother, and sister.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry T. Hester Sr.; parents, George Willie Badon Sr. and Belzire Domingue Badon.

She is survived by her children, Shirley Jordan and husband Ed of Lovelady, Texas, Geraldine Riggs and husband Charles of Brazoria, Texas, Jerry Hester and wife Kimmey of Dickenson, Texas, Kathy Tilton and husband Keith of Mount Belvieu, Texas; brother, George Badon and wife Verna Lou of Lafayette LA; sister, Rose Gautreaux of Lafayette LA; 12 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Her family will receive friends at Navarre Funeral Home on Sunday from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., with a Rosary service starting at 3:00 p.m. Funeral services are scheduled for Monday 11:00 a.m. at St. John Catholic Church, officiated by Rev. Tin Pham. Burial will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Keith Ethridge, Tracy Ethridge, Matthew Hester, Kris Hester, Scott Riggs, Bryan Hemmenway, and Sean Wilcheck.
