Billie Dell Wolfe, 87, of League City, passed away on Monday, June 23,2025, at her residence, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on November 10, 1937, in Goose Creek, Texas, to the late Lorene Mae Del Homme and Albert Hamilton Tribe, Sr. Billie made her career as a hairdresser, and then a florist until her retirement at the young age of 82.
Billie pursued many interests, some of which included a fascination with rocks, and her love for flowers. She had a passion for Jesus and dedicated her life to telling anyone who would listen about him and his faithfulness to them. Billie also enjoyed the simple things in life like just staying home while watching Christian television or listening to Christian music. She was a sweet giving person, who would give her last dollar to help someone in need. Above all, her greatest joy came from spending precious time with her family as they were her pride and joy.
Billie was preceded in death by her parents; her sister Sylvia Jennings; and her brother Albert Tribe, Jr. She leaves behind to cherish her loving memory her sons Richard Wolfe, Rex Wolfe and wife Heather, and Randy Wolfe and wife Kelle; her grandchildren Shayla Cousins and husband Boots, Grace Daniels and husband Alex, Dylan Smith, Katelyn Smith and Tiffany Smith; her great-grandson Silas Daniels; her sister Doris Payne; her numerous nieces; nephews; cousins; her fur babies Bella and Fluff; and a host of other loving relatives and friends.
The family would like to extend their gratitude to Bristol Hospice and the nurses that provided such wonderful care and love for Billie during her last days on this Earth. She is now rejoicing in the loving arms of Jesus, where she is well again.
A graveside service will be held at Earthman Memory Gardens Cemetery, located at 8624 Garth Rd, Baytown, TX, 77521, on June 28, 2025, from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm.
