Bonnie Lynn Cipponeri, 66, of Baytown, Texas, passed away on Friday, January 2, 2026. She was born in Trenton, New Jersey, on September 4, 1959, to the late Jean Roberts Rasmussen and Richard Olszak. Bonnie’s faith as a Christian was very important to her. She instilled those values in her children as they were growing up.
Bonnie pursued many interests, some of which included her love of sweet tea, going fishing, and her passion for rescuing dogs. She also enjoyed the simple pleasures in life like just staying at home and watching animal planet with her dog Zoey or taking walks around the neighborhood. Bonnie was known for her feisty side, she was strong-willed and could do anything she put her mind to. She was a social butterfly who never met a stranger anywhere she went. Bonnie loved to tell jokes to make you smile, she believed that a simple smile made a person’s day a little brighter. Her infectious smile lit up a room with just her presence. Above all, Bonnie’s greatest joy came from spending time with her precious grandbabies whom “could do no wrong”.
Bonnie was preceded in death by her parents. She leaves behind to cherish her loving memory her beloved husband Jerry of more than 15 years; her children Emily Betancourt and husband Paul, Steven Land, and David Anderson; her grandchildren Sid, Demi, and Addison Betancourt, Matthew Land, and Victoria Anderson; her siblings Kimberly Meisner and husband John, Ricky Olszak, Michael Olszak, and Sherry Brancato; her numerous nieces and nephews; along with a host of other loving relatives and friends.
