Brenda was a respiratory therapist for over 45 years and worked in Baytown at both Humana and San Jacinto Methodist Hospitals. In 1989 she and her husband started Baytown Medical Equipment which served Baytown and surrounding communities until 2018.
Brenda enjoyed being in the outdoors with her husband, when they weren’t hunting or fishing, she loved sitting on her patio watching the hummingbirds and squirrels. Brenda never met a stranger and was always a social butterfly making friends wherever she went. She enjoyed traveling around the country, shopping and spending time with family and friends. During the Holidays she would spoil her family and friends with her baked goods: pumpkin rolls, Hawaiian bread and chocolate and peanut butter fudge.
Mrs. Brasher was proceeded in death by her husband of 47 years, her parents, and sister Rita Gay Coburn. She is survived by her siblings Mary Harrison, Larry Coburn and Eddie Coburn. She leaves 4 children: son David Brasher and wife Cassie, Tammy Davis and husband David, Bobbie Melton and husband Darron, Ann Langley and husband Fritz. Surviving grandchildren include Chad Laird and wife Jill, Dusti Laird Malone and husband Sean. Justin Davis and wife Heather, Brandi Langley and Scott Ray, Farah Meredith and husband Ronnie. She is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren: Luke and Will Laird, Mackenzie and Landon Malone, Aubree and Hunter Davis, Logan Langley, Rylan Jackson, Addy and Emma Meredith.
The family will receive friends for visitation from 6:00-7:00 pm on Thursday, November 19, 2020 at Navarre Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 2444 Rollingbrook Dr., Baytown TX 77521. Funeral Services will take place on Friday November 20, 2020 at 11:00 am in the Chapel of Navarre Funeral home, with interment to follow in Sterling White Cemetery, Highlands, TX.
