Carolyn Jane Iford Fullbright, 83, of Baytown went to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, June 5, 2014, surrounded by her loving family. She was born October 20, 1930, in Wellington, Kansas, to Carl and Mamie Iford.
Carolyn was a homemaker and was active in the Baytown Professional Firefighters Wives Association for many years. She enjoyed crocheting blankets for her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren; throwing fish frys for her family and friends; making homemade jelly; and sharing laughs over a pot of coffee with friends. She loved watching movies and had a famous video collection that could rival any Blockbuster. Carolyn was a very spirited and loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend whose shenanigans and feistiness will be profoundly missed by all who loved her.
Carolyn was preceded in death by her father, Carl Henry Iford; mother, Mamie Jane Cain Iford; and beloved husband of 51 years, Frank Hamer Fullbright. She is survived by her sister and brother-in-law, Mary Lou and Johnny Krolczyk of Baytown; sons and daughters-in-law, Carl ""Skip"" and Robin of Spring; Frank Hamer, Jr., and Linda of Baytown; David Wayne and Carolyn of Baytown; and James Keith and Shani of Pontotoc, Mississippi; daughters and sons-in-law, Mary Delaine and Michael Cannon of Mont Belvieu; and Vickie and Andy Weber of Lake Jackson; 16 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren; and one great grandson on the way.
Carolyn's family will receive friends at Navarre Funeral Home on Sunday, June 8, 2014, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Funeral services will be Monday, June 9, 2014, at 10:00 a.m. at Navarre Funeral Home with Reverend Micki Rios officiating. Carolyn will be laid to eternal rest next to her cherished husband at Memory Gardens Cemetery following the service.

Honorary pallbearers will be James Keith Fullbright; Frank Ryan Fullbright; Taylor Dylan Fullbright; Travis Tanner Fullbright; David Brandon Fullbright; and Mackenzie Tate Fullbright.
