

Charles F. Burns, Jr., 75, of Willis, TX, formerly Baytown, was born October 6, 1938 in Lott and passed away Friday, April 4, 2014 in a Conroe hospital. After his retirement, he retired on Lake Conroe. He was a member of Harvest Temple Church and the Baytown Masonic Lodge #1357, where he was a Past Master. He was also a member of the Scottish Rite and the Goose Creek Order of the Eastern Star Chapter #798.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles, Sr. and Mollie Burns; brothers, Elmer Burns and Jimmy Burns; and wife, Kathrine Burns. He is survived by his sons and daughter-in-law, Wayne Burns of Willis and James and Tanya Burns of Beach City; sister, Mary Thrasher and brother and sister-in-law, George and Virgie Burns, all of Rosebud; and grandchildren, Madison Burns and Makena Burns.
His family will receive friends at Navarre Funeral Home Monday from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Graveside services with Masonic Rites will be Tuesday, April 8, 2014, at 1:00 p.m. at the Powers Chapel Cemetery in Rosebud in Falls County.
