

Cody was a huge racing fan, enjoyed watching all car races from start to finish and was Crew Chief for Richardson Racing Hobby Stock Car #22. He was an eclectic music lover and enjoyed the rhythm and beat of all music, as he would sing along with it.
With an infectious smile, young Cody could light up a room and then use his playful demeanor to flirt and attract the women around him. His mischievous, quick witted mind proved his intelligence.
He was preceded in death by grandfathers, Bruce Eddy and Rev. Donald King and an uncle, David Ufert.
Survivors include his loving parents, Tammy Wickesser Humphreys and ""Big Daddy"" Bobby Humphreys; brother, Justin King; grandparents, Brenda Eddy, Bobby Humphreys, Sr. and Ernest Lee Wickesser; aunts and uncles, Tommy and Christy Wickesser, James Ufert, William and Beverly Humphreys and Karen and Tim McSpadden; best friends, Trinity Richardson, Jamie Phillips and Shane McCowan and numerous cousins and other family members.
For the care of Cody, the family would like to thank the office and staff of Baytown Medical Supply, Rescare and his caregivers, Louise Sanders, Merle Shepherd, Linda Stollman and Angela Diaz; special caregivers, Yasheka ""Ya Ya"" Thomas and Heaven ""Sis"" Mizell; therapists, Brandon Aldreidge and Linda Fountain and the doctors, nurses and staff of Memorial Hermann Children's Hospital and TIRR and all teachers and therapist at Goose Creek Consolidate Independent School District.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, February 5, 2014 at Navarre Funeral Home. A musical celebration will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, February 6, 2014 at the funeral home with Pastor Steve Shirey officiating and special music provided by Bill and Kim Nash.
