Dennis Short

Dennis lived in Baytown his entire life, graduated from Robert E. Lee High School in 1975, was a member of the Billiards League and was a Crane Operator.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Melba Louise Short.

Survivors include his sons, Jason and Ryan Short; daughter, Rachelle Short; brother, Calvin Short and his wife Linda all of Baytown; nephews, Michael Short and his wife Marissa of Baytown and Curtis Short of Pearland; great-nephew, Alec Short and great-niece, Cecilia Short both of Baytown.

His family will receive friends at Navarre Funeral Home on Friday from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, April 11, 2009 at Navarre Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held at 3:30 p.m., Saturday, April 11, 2009 at the Zavalla Cemetery in Zavalla, Texas.

Pallbearers will be: Jason, Ryan, Calvin, Curtis and Michael Short and Joe Villanueva.
