Dorothy Juanita Weatherly (Wilson)

Dorothy Juanita Weatherly (Wilson), 85, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, May 29, 2022. She was born, February 14, 1937, in Goldthwaite, Texas to J.T. and Georgia Adams. Juanita liked to play games, sew, collect teapots, go shopping with her grandkids and spend time with her family. She loved to spend her Sundays at church.

She married her husband Gerald Wayne Weatherly and they were blessed with three children Jerry, Diane, and Gary Weatherly. She worked at KinderCare and loved the kids and her job. She would still talk about it and all the memories she had of the children to this day.

She is survived by her son Gary Weatherly and his wife Jodi; her grandchildren Chasity, Tera, and Garrett Weatherly and Jessica Michelle Phillips; great-grandchildren Mylie and Zaylie Wood, Brennen and Natasha Alvarez, and Emily, Kylie and Maddie Phillips; sisters Jackie Mckee, Millie Powell, Kay Huntsman and Gloria Horton.

She is preceded in death; by her husband Gerald Wayne Weatherly; her son Jerry Weatherly; her daughter Rhonda Diane Weatherly; her parents J.T. and Georgia Adams; her sisters Loretta Trumble and Louise Langston.

She will be remembered for her positive attitude, sweetness and her always looking out for everyone else.
