

Edward ""Ed"" Ells, 54, of Baytown, passed away Friday, April 18, 2014 in Baytown after a brief and unexpected illness. He was born April 30, 1959 in Palmer, Massachusetts to his late parents, Gary Russell Ells, Sr. and Georgianna Kabisch Ells.
Ed moved to Baytown in 1979 and was Lead Electrical Designer with Tellepsen Engineering in LaPorte, a job he truly loved. He was an active family man, spending much time with his 4 grandchildren and the rest of his time helping whomever needed it.
He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Debra Ann Ells and an uncle, Herb Kabisch.
Survivors include his wife, Terry Armer Ells and daughter, Shelby Lee Ells both of Baytown; grandchildren, Anabel Ruiz, Anika Ells, Levi Campbell and Locksley Searcy; brothers, Gary Ells, Jr. and his wife Becky of Tennessee and Robert Ells and his wife Jodi of Illinois; sister, Tammy LaValley and her husband Larry of New York and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Wednesday, April 23, 2014 at Navarre Funeral Home. Services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, April 24, 2014 at the funeral home with Dr. Mark Broussard officiating. Burial follow at White Cemetery in Highlands.
Pallbearers will be Ronnie Armer, Larry Armer, Barry Armer, John Ruiz, Charles Guerra and Justin Searcy.
