

Eula Mae ""LuLu"" Troutman was born February 11, 1920 to Ernest and Eber Hodges and heard Jesus say ""well done good and faithful servant"" on March 22, 2008 with her loving family by her side. She was a resident of Baytown, Texas at the time of her passing but for many years resided in Sweeny, Texas. She faithfully served the Lord beside her husband in ministry, touching many lives in several congregations across Texas and Oklahoma.
She is survived by four daughters: Lareta Williams and husband ""Buster"" of Baytown, Carolyn Hagemeier of West Columbia, LaVerne Charles and husband Jimmie of Cold Spring, Pat Shepard and husband James of Kilgore; one son: Vernon and wife Brenda of Houston; one sister: Myrtle Shults of Duncan, Oklahoma; two brothers: Clarence Hodges and wife Margaret of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and Everett Hodges and wife Pat of Denison, Texas; 15 grandchildren and 30 great grandchildren; one very special niece: Evelyn Walker of Crosby, Texas, and a host of other nieces, nephews and friends.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Vester Carl Troutman, her parents, one grandchild, two great grandchildren, one sister and two brothers.
The family extends a special ""thank you"" to the staff at Goose Creek Rehabilitation and Health Care Facility especially Rosa, who gave her the affectionate nickname of ""LuLu"". A special ""thank you"" to Jackie of Odyssey Hospice.
Mrs. Troutman's life will be celebrated Tuesday, March 25, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Navarre Funeral Home in Baytown with visitation Monday, March 24, 2008 from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. Grandsons will serve as pallbearers. Burial will follow at Cedarcrest Cemetery.
