Fonda Mae Epperson

Fonda Mae ""Honey"" Epperson, 89, of Old River-Winfree, went to be with the Lord Monday, November 28, 2016 in Baytown. She was born March 28, 1927 in La Porte, Texas to Medford and Winnie ""Allie"" Dickerson.

Fonda was a member of Mont Belvieu Assembly of God for many years. Fonda loved painting, working in her yard, and spoiling her grandkids. She was a devoted wife, a wonderful mother, and a perfect grandma.

Fonda was preceded in death by her son, Gene Townsend, and her 5 siblings. She is survived by her husband of 68 years, Ken Epperson; daughter, Bennie Blackmon; grandchildren, Ken and Sean Gavlik, Les, Brandon, Michelle, and Kayla Townsend, and Rob and Chris Schmadl, and many great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends and family for visitation from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Thursday, December 1, 2016 with a service at 10:00 a.m. Friday, December 2, 2016 at Navarre Funeral Home with Pastor Josh Joines officiating. A graveside service will be held afterwards at Memory Gardens.
